What Do I Say?

 High Everybody!

I’m Mary Jane, Dixie’s friend, and I’m not sure what to write. I said ‘yah, a blog will be fun, I can write out my crazy thoughts like a diary’, now I have nothing.

Unlike Dixie, I’m not normal, nor do I have the normal “things” that she has, no husband, no kids, I do have a dog though, I love dogs, especially mine. But I don’t hate my lifestyle, I chose to stay single and not have kids and almost every day I applaud that decision I made. However, this isn’t for everyone, and I absolutely love my happily married friends, it’s the very unhappily married people that I have a hard time getting behind.

Fun is my middle name, I like to have fun, all the time. I cut up and crack jokes when I can and especially when I feel it’s necessary. Sometimes the atmosphere is too thick with attitude and tension, so I cut it some, well at least I think I do. I think that is why Dixie and I get along so well; we have the same odd sense of humor. Oh, and I bust out singing at any given moment too, lol. I do crack myself up.

Let me see what antics I can tell you about. Yesterday was a weird day at work, I thought we’d broken Dixie, it seems like the customers just kept beating her up. Which is one of the reasons we wanted to start a blog, to tell you what customer service is really like. It’s hard, really really hard, because of the dumb shits that we have to deal with. I mean really, these people call up and ask us to do something for them that would literally only take them 5 seconds, but no, they insist they do not know how and prefer to wait 4 to 6 hours for a person to come out to them the do it for them. I swear, it’s like we work at a full-service gas station or something.

I do enjoy being nice to people, I’m a decently nice person naturally, but these customers really try my patience. One customer told on me yesterday, she was mad because I told her no to a question that the answer was really no. My boss of course defended me, saying I’d done my job, but then she rolled over and gave the customer what she wanted. So, the lesson here is…keep complaining as a customer and  you’ll eventually get what  you want.

Anyways, it’s been fun chatting tonight, hopefully I’ll have something more to say soon.
Oh yah, I have a tip for you: Not all recipes that you find online are good, anyone can post a recipe or a blog 😊

Peace out,
Mary Jane
